Marc Henry was born in Jamaica on June 30, 1990. As a very young child, Marc spent a fair deal of time, doodling and then drawing, so it was a natural fit when he was introduced to Modern Batik Art in grade 11, while attending Emery Collegiate. When Marc is not drawing, he spends most of his time as a lifeguard for Driftwood Community Centre, in Toronto, or as a volunteer with the Toronto Police Services. Marc wants to develop his artistic skills, and will further his education in Fine Arts and Business Administration.
In 2008, Marc successfully facilitated two workshops with MicroSkills and the pieces created were exhibited during the Black History month at the Toronto Police Services Headquarters in downtown Toronto.
