Tiana Robinson
President

Tiana Robinson is a Canadian artists who was born in May Pen, Jamaica, in 1990.

Her journey as an artist began at an early age, as she was always doodling in class, or at home. Her love for art was unmistakable. At the age of thirteen she was nominated to participate for a Leaf Dreams scholarship. The scholarship gave her the opportunity to freely enroll in art classes at the Art Gallery of Ontario. This experience inspired her to delve fully into the art field, as she was constantly being exposed to instructors who were working artist themselves. Tiana attended C.W. Jeffery’s Collegiate Institute were she was enrolled in their special arts program and was introduced to the Modern Batik art form.

Tiana quickly grasped the new learned technique she gained more recognition for her work, and received a great honour when one of her best-known images, the Nation of Mothers, was bought by the City of Toronto, and now hangs in the Mayor’s office. She currently attends The University of Toronto and Sheridan College where she is majoring in Art and Art History, with hopes of gaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts.
